Lizards and Frogs
Our Beach House rental included a pool which was frequented by a large green iguana. It wasn’t alarmed by my presence and I was able to get some closeup pictures. I imagine it was used to visitors feeding it leftovers from their salads. Discovering I had nothing to offer, it opted for a juicy Katydid near the sauna. I would also catch glimpses of crested anoles clinging to the palm tree trunks in the shade. They were curious and let me approach fairly closely. In the evenings, I was taunted by the chirps of the tree frogs. I could hear them and knew they were just a few feet away but I could never see them. After searching for several nights, I was finally able to capture a picture of one.
